Christian Siriano Debuts Fashion Book ‘Dresses To Dream About’

Beloved fashion designer Christian Siriano launched his new book Dresses to Dream About at a special celebration at the Chateau Marmont. He was surrounded by some of his biggest celebrity fans who have worn his clothes over the years, including Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Helen Hunt, Connie Britton, Niecy Nash, Kristin Chenoweth, Kate Mara, Sarah Hyland, Alicia Silverstone, Samira Wiley, Lauren Morelli, Selma Blair, Isabelle Fuhrman, Willow Shields, Michelle Trachtenberg, Sarah Rafferty and Nicole Laliberte.

Dresses to Dream About goes behind the scenes to show the amazing details and sophisticated structures of some of Siriano’s most lavish red-carpet gowns, as well as some of his ready-to-wear pieces. The Project Runway superstar became a household name after his first New York Fashion Week runway show in 2008. Siriano has been praised over the years for designing for all types of body shapes, helping to change fashion industry norms.

The book reveals, for the first time, Siriano’s full creative process in designing, which begins with hundreds of silhouettes he sketches for each show. “Like watching a film,” he stated, “there is always a story, and something to remember. With this book, I want to share that story.” Dresses to Dream About is available now from Rizzoli.
