New Indian Restaurant aRoqa Brings Your Dish To Life In A Way You Don’t Want To Miss
Chef/Owner Gaurav Anand brings food and drink alive through his new modern Indian restaurant aRoqa in Chelsea, NYC. The restaurant’s name itself is a reference to an Indian engagement ceremony and party, or a Roqa – a fun and festive affair. The entire dining experience will both entice and engage guests as they enjoy cuisine that was inspired by the interplay of flavors and ingredients, especially in street foods in places as diverse as Mexico, India and Asia.
Anand plays up the cultures’ street food through playful serving vessels, made custom in India, such as carts, bicycles and mini trucks. To amp things up, he brings fire and ice into the mix. Check out some of the intricate and tasty delicacies below.
