Why You Need To Try The New Menu At Paul Wahlberg’s Alma Nove
Photo Credit: Alma NoveNamed after the matriarch of those famous Wahlbergs with a nod to her nine children (you might know a couple of the younger siblings – actors/singers Mark and Donnie, who are also co-owners of the restaurant with their older brother and Executive Chef Paul), Alma Nove is the brainchild of one of the South Shore’s most celebrated chefs.

This is the first time since opening nearly seven years ago that Wahlberg has made a change quite like this. We recommend trying the herb roasted cod with orzo, roasted tomatoes, capers and artichokes; or the wood grilled swordfish with squash risotto and roasted pepperonata.
The reinvented menu here also includes spaghettini with mahogany clams, garlic and chilis; pan seared scallops with fava bean and morel risotto accompanied by a flavorful basil puree; spring pea, ricotta and prosciutto ravioli with sautéed shrimp topped with yellow tomato-brown butter.; and a wood-grilled prime flat iron steak fries and charred tomato relish accompanied by their own A9 steak sauce.
