With a name like Big Night Entertainment Group, it’s really no surprise to find out they do everything that much bigger than all the others.
For example, just last week, we told you about GEM’s $200 Bottle Rocket cocktails and featured the haute sushi rolls at Empire in our neighborhood guide to Boston’s Seaport District that keep rolling out into the wee late night hours. Yet we haven’t even had a chance to talk about the massive bowls of Singapore Street noodles at Red Lantern or the “sinister” cocktails served up in a skull mug at The Scorpion Bar.

At first step into any one of BNEG’s restaurants and you know you have arrived somewhere cool. Soaring ceilings, enormous hanging lights and bright colorful decor are the themes where even bigger portions of food and some of the largest cocktails in town are served.

We recently caught up with Big Night Entertainment Group’s principal owner, Joe Kane, to find out what he loves most about Boston.
