The Hamptons were the setting for a fun-filled Fourth of July holiday weekend. Friday night, I went to Andrew Saffir’s party for the release of Grease at Katie Lee Joel’s house. Fabiola Beracasa, Donna Karan and Jennifer Creel were all there.
On Saturday afternoon, I stopped by Lizzie Grubman’s house for an amazing celebrity-filled barbecue, but she won’t allow me to disclose all the guests. I can only tell you that Billy Baldwin and Chynna Phillips were there because they are her clients. The rest of the guests you can only imagine.
On Saturday night, Jen Brown hosted a beautiful dinner at her home in Water Mill with Jennifer Raines. The delicious dinner on the water was lit by tiki torches and candlelight. Guests included Tara and Gregg Spiegel, Lauren and Charlie Walk, Marcy and Michael Warren (Marcy is an expert with the camera), Stephanie Hirsh, Donny Deutsch, Elana Posner, Jason Pomeranc, Jason Hirschorn, John Mason and Jill Kalikow Heller.
After the dinner, Lizzie and Jon Tisch, Bill Rudin and I went to Russell Simmons and David Rosenberg’s party on Ocean Road in Bridgehampton. Vikram Chatwal and Priya Sachdev, Scott Wilpon, Gayle King, Nick Cannon and tons of people from the hip-hop music scene were there.
On Sunday afternoon I had lunch at the Peltz’s house and of course jumped on the trampoline with their adorable boys. There were tons of parties on the Fourth of July. Lizzie and Jon Tisch went Jane Lauder’s house, and I went to the Yorns’ house where Cameron Diaz was chatting with Charlie Walk and making s’mores. By 10 p.m. Lizzie, Jon and I had enough of all the parties and met for a quiet dinner at Mirko’s.
On Monday, I headed to Southampton to have lunch with Jeff and Nancy Lane, who I call my second parents.
