Haute Time & Haute Living kick off CEO Kamal Hotchandani’s Birthday

What’s better than turning forty-two? Turning forty-two with about forty-two of your hautest friends to toast with you. Hosted by none other than Haute Living alongside Haute Time, New York’s swanky Tao Downtown set the scene for a special celebration to kick off Publisher and CEO, Kamal Hotchandani’s birthday weekend.

The chef-curated menu featured sushi, crispy snapper in sand, Mongolian beef, duck fried rice, and a signature selection of specialties. Befittingly, the occasion called for 1942, Dom Perignon, and a special LOUIS XIII moment for the birthday boy himself. Shortly thereafter, a stream of sparklers crowned a decadent dessert presentation as the CEO blew out his candle in style, but perhaps the height of the lavish affair came when Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys surprised him with a custom Hublot timepiece to commemorate another year.

To top off the night, guests made their way downstairs to the lounge, where parade followed by parade of champagne parted the crowd, as onlookers joined in on wishing Hotchandani a very happy birthday. Notable attendees who couldn’t miss the festivities included Benny Pough, EVP of Epic Records, Rick De La Croix, President of Hublot Latin America, nightlife mogul, Noah Tepperberg, FoodGod Jonathan Cheban, Ambassador Paolo Zampolli, and Brooklyn-bred Songwriter & Recording Artist, Pat Toussaint.
