How to Celebrate Chinese New Year Beverly Hills Style
Celebrate Chinese New Year and the Year of the Rooster Beverly Hills-style with a slew of luxury shopping and staycation experiences.

A number of boutiques and flagship stores in the 90210, including Rodeo Drive, are also celebrating by featuring rooster-themed products or red accents. Signature high-end items include Louis Vuitton’s Vuittonite Pendant Necklace, Dior’s “Diorelita” Bracelet, Burberry’s Lunar New Year Collection and Gucci’s Chinese New Year Scarf. Breguet, David Orgell and Cartier and many other storefront windows in the city are decorated with beautiful displays, inspired by Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival. And select luxury retailers are providing VIP shoppers with exclusive red envelopes and unique gifts, such as Coach’s red leather phone case. (Red envelopes are a traditional gift in China as the red color symbolizes good luck and is a representation to ward off evil spirits.
The Beverly Center is also celebrating, focusing its festivities around the enchanting Wishing Tree located on Level 6 in Center Court, where guests are invited to write their wishes. In the Chinese culture, placing a wish on the Wishing Tree bestows blessings and makes wishes come true. The tree is also adorned with cultural elements such as coins, lanterns and ribbons to symbolize joy, luck and prosperity in the year to come.
