The Return of the Two-Martini Lunch at Carnevino

Think of this as a return to the heyday of the Mad Men era. Now Carnevino Italian Restaurant at the Palazzo launched The Martini Lunch for $65 per person. Rhe meal includes two martinis, plus three courses, all served within an hour. The menu showcases some of Carnevino’s most distinctive and beloved dishes and will change with the seasons.

Guests start by picking two drinks, which include a Manhattan with rye, sweet Vermouth and bitters; and English Cucumber with Hendrick’s gin, St. Germain and lime; a Blood Orange Cosmo with Grey Goose Citron vodka and Cointreau; or aClassic with a choice of vodka or gin with Castelvetrano olives.

Then guest choose a first course from choices such as the Little Gem Salad with tomatoes, ricotta salata and herbs; grilled octopus with pickled vegetables and limoncello for an additional $5; or Carne Cruda, a chopped to order steak tartare.

Then guests pick Tagliatelle Bolognese; salmon with fregula, corn and tomato conserva; or filet mignon with Cesare’s Tuscan fries and arugula for an additional $10.

Finally for dessert, guest pick either corn panna cotta with blueberry thyme conserva and lime zest or Bomboloni with strawberry jam and sweet mascarpone.

Guests can skip the martinis for $50.
