When the Los Angeles Dodgers throw a party, they do so in style—with a little help from some very famous friends.

The iconic band Fleetwood MacLindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine  McVie, John McVie and Stevie Nicks—performed at the Dodgers’ second annual Blue Diamond Gala, marking the group’s only public performance for 2016. The event, which was chaired by Shelli & Irving Azoff, brought together over 1000 celebrants to Dodger Stadium, raising funds for the non-profit LA Dodgers Foundation. The organization’s primary focus is to support cornerstone programs in Sports + Recreation, Education + Literacy and Health + Wellness benefitting children and families in need throughout the greater Los Angeles region. 

Legendary broadcaster and Hall of Famer Vin Scully was honored for his 67 years of consecutive service and was introduced by Dodger pitching legend and current broadcaster Orel Hershiser

Attendees included Los Angeles Dodgers owners Mark Walter, Peter Guber and Todd Boehly; manager Dave Roberts; coaches Josh Bard, Bob Geren, Rick Honeycutt, George Lomard and Tim Hyers; players Clayton Kershaw, Yasiel Puig, Corey Seager, Kenta Maeda, Adrian Gonzalez, Howie Kendrick, Joc Pederson, Chase Utley, Andre Ethier, Yasmani Grandal, Justin Turner, Scott Kazmir, Bud Norris, Chris Taylor, Ross Stripling, Brandon McCarthy, Chris Hatcher, AJ Ellis, , Scott Van Slyke, Pedro Baez, Austin Barnes, Joe Blanton and Louis Coleman; and LADF Executive Director Nichol Whiteman. Celebrity guests included: Camila Alves, Tai Babilonia, Mark Ballas, Jillian Bell, Will Forte, Arsenio Hall, Michael Harney, BC Jean, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Genevieve Morton, Matthew McConaughey, Adrienne C. Moore, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lindsay Vonn, Sylvester Stallone, Jaleel White and Bellamy Young.

Since the inception of both the Dodgers Dreamfields and Dodgers RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) programs, the LADF has invested nearly $10 million in underserved communities throughout Los Angeles. Proceeds from the Blue Diamond Gala will support the expansion of these two programs, increasing the number of youth served and increasing overall impact.
