Design World A Listers at Hamptons AD Party to Benefit Animal Rescue

The inaugural Hamptons Contemporary Home Design and Décor Show, benefiting the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF). got off to a great start when Architectural Digest hosted a gala evening for the event that drew top names in interior design and resulted in some new pet adoptions. How many cocktail parties can accomplish all that?

The evening included a silent auction, featuring a limited edition lithograph by James Rosenquist, along with donations from other exhibitors to support ARF, the terrific group that has been rescuing and caring for animals on the East End since 1974. ARF had its animal rescue van at the event – where guests could meet the gorgeous animals looking for a new home. Thom Filicia and partner Greg Calejo became parents to a beautiful new puppy.

Design world stars and socials who turned out for the event included Sasha Bikoff, Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan, Chesie Breen, Whitney Fairchild and Nacho Ramos, Stephen Fanuka, Thom Filicia, Rick Friedman, Mario Grauso, Alexa Hampton, Celerie Kemble, DJ Mad Marj, Richard Mishaan, Scott Nelson, Alex Papachristidis, Ann and John Pyne, Elizabeth Pyne, Ophelia and Bill Rudin, Sabrina Rudin, Roric Tobin, and Vicente Wolf.

The 40,000-square-foot Hamptons Contemporary pavilion showcased over 160 luxury furniture and appliance manufacturers, one-of-a-kind artisan pieces, state-of-the-art pool and landscape design, home theater specialists, and other design innovators.
