Leonardo DiCaprio Attends Haute Living’s Adrien Brody Cover Release Lunch Sponsored by InList and Jet Lu...
The day after the exhibition’s grand opening, Adrien Brody hosted a much more intimate luncheon at Lulu Laboratorium to celebrate his Haute Living magazine cover. As a crowd gathered, fellow actor Leonardo DiCaprio showed up to check out Brody’s “Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and Handguns” exhibit. The two actors made the rounds around the studio as Brody explained the inspiration for each of his installations, which proved to be extremely timely.
The other half of the gallery featured Domingo Zapata’s “Wanted” exhibit, as well as merchandise he is selling. The Haute Living luncheon was sponsored by Michael Capponi’s nightlife app, InList, JetLux and Zacapa Rum. Lunch was catered by The Butcher Shop, a hip, Wynwood favorite for gourmet burgers located around the corner from Lulu Laboratorium.
Lunch was served at a long table in the spacious gallery which featured prepared salads and allowed guests to order off menu. Keeping with the theme of Adrien’s exhibition, both hot dogs and hamburgers were on the menu, although these were ostensibly healthier than the fast food referenced in the artist’s work.
Mike Zig showed up with some Coconut Cartel coconuts for everyone to drink, adding a healthy edge to the meal, which had everyone sitting at the table sharing Basel stories, and cell phone pix.
VIPs in attendance included Haute Living publishers Kamal Hotchandani and Seth Semilof, Eduardo Serio of Black Jaguar White Tiger, Jet Lux CEO Tom Osovitzki, Crime by Design and Larsa Pippen.
Zapata’s merchandise was also on full display, including items from collaborations with Superga Shoes, Steve Madden and Fresh.
