40 Year’s For Bulgari and John Hardy—Two Very Different Jewelers

Both Bulgari and John Hardy are celebrating their 40th anniversary, but each have a very different definition of a party. For Bulgari, the Roman based jeweler whose client roster reads like a Hollywood who’s who, it was a soiree Italian style at their 57th Street flagship on one of the most expensive real estate corner’s known to man. They celebrated the Bulgari Bulgari collection which was first seen in 1975 to cater to a more accessible audience—up until that point the focus was special-occasion dressing.

Within the boutique, guests celebrated with sweets, canapés and champagne. Jean-Christophe Babin, the CEO, was in town for the chic soiree and attendees included magazine publishers, and New York’s fashionable elite who were milling around showcases. Guests could ascend the glass stairway to the top floor to see the masterpiece collection curated by the company in celebrations of their Bulgari Bulgari anniversary.  A golden fondant triple layer cake stood as an uneaten sculpture for instagram posers.
