Terrace Treats: Ramadan at the St. Regis Abu Dhabi
An Abu Dhabi foodie’s hot spot, The Terrace, is Abu Dhabi’s signature day-to-night restaurant and formerly Rhodes 44, Chef Gary Rhodes’ Abu Dhabi restaurant. This Ramadan the venue turns into a cornucopia of delicious Arabian treats.
Located on the ground level of the hotel, the vibrant dining destination has created a specially crafted Iftar menu including a myriad of theatrical live cooking stations and an array of delectable flavours from across the Middle East.
From the first sighting of the moon in late June until late July 2015, guests can discover the perfectly executed festive feast which will be brought to life with modern-Arabia inspired music and a wide array of freshly prepared shishas. Keeping the concept of ‘social dining’ at the heart of the culinary experience, the breaking of the fast will commence with a chef’s daily sharing mezze.
Guests can then journey between stations, sampling flavours from Turkey, Iran, Armenia, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt and Morocco. Highlights include Kashgeh Bademjan, salt crusted Hammour, slow roasted lamb Ouzi, all priced at AED 150++ per person. The restaurant boasts a daily Iftar and Suhoor, including an a la carte menu from 11pm to sunrise.
