Vivienne Westwood Designs $25,000 Per Night Penthouse Suite
British designer Vivienne Westwood has crossover into the hospitality market with a partnership with the London West Hollywood. Westwood will be designing the award-wining West Hollywood hotel’s penthouse located on the 10th floor.
The 11,000-square foot two-level posh penthouse includes two bedrooms, a full kitchen, marble bathrooms, a media room and exclusive access to a 5,000-square-foot private outdoor, rooftop terrace that can hold approximately 300 guests.
Upon arrival guests will be greeted with his and her gift bags and amenities from the British brand. The penthouse suite’s master bedroom will have four-poster King-sized bed with a dressing room. There is artwork entitled “Adventure” is hanging on what is described as the Vivienne Westwood wall. The second bedroom will be designed to reflect a synonymous style. Guest will be able to book the latter exclusively to the penthouse.
The VIP accommodations continues with an hour of private shopping at the Vivienne Westwood store located in West Hollywood as well as a special guest discount.
In a statement, the hotel’s general manager Jeff Kulek said, “We are proud to unveil the city’s largest, most lavish and fashion-forward hotel suite, inspired by renowned designer Vivienne Westwood, and we look forward to impressing our discerning guests with all it has to offer. The new penthouse, along with our three impressive new Metropolitan Collection suites, not only offer superior overnight accommodations, but also provide unparalleled entertaining opportunities found nowhere else in Los Angeles.”
In addition, the suite provides access to a large hallway that connects to the Grand Salon sitting room that is adorned in Vivienne Westwood cushions and furnishings. The area incorporates custom-made cabinetry as well as rich furniture, built-in bookcases and Verre Eglomise mirror panels. Rug designs will reflect Vivienne Westwood’s signature patterns.
The partnership, between the hotel and Westwood, also includes a collaboration with Richmond Designs, which will incorporate Westwood’s iconic modern punk creative conceptions.
The suite is slated to be completed by May 18th. It is priced at $25,000 per night.
