First and business class Angelenos traveling on Emirates are in for a treat, as the airline has finally opened a luxe new lounge at LAX.

The third dedicated lounge in the U.S. (the 37th worldwide) is decorated in a neutral color palette of grey, camel and taupe with small splashes of red to provide dramatic effect. It offers seating for up to 142 people, covering an area of 9,042 square feet.

The fresh design has the same attention to detail as the other Emirates’ lounges throughout the world, where guests can enjoy an array of luxurious facilities and amenities that include a terrace view, LED TVs, leather armchairs, mahogany furniture, a choice of formal and relaxed seating, a quiet area, a dining area featuring a range of global cuisines, shower facilities, business center and a water feature.

You’ll also find luxe touches like Italian marble floors, Gold Rolex clocks and bespoke artwork.

For all VIPs traveling on Emirates, however, the luxe journey begins before they actually check in to the lounge, with a private chauffeur driven car and dedicated airport check-in. How haute!
