Free luxury flights! Yes, you read that right. In a holiday filled with cliched chocolate boxes and done to death flower arrangements, jet charter app Jetsmarter just injected some much-needed romanticism into Valentine’s Day.

Jetsmarter, which operates like Uber for luxury flying, allows its users to chart private jets to any destination of their choosing. The service, which would normally be out of reach for many, might have just thrown a gigantic plane-sized life preserver for those still scrambling to come up with a plan for Valentine’s Day.

Potential Jet-setters who download the app (which is available for free on both Google Play and the Apple marketplace) will be able to charter empty leg flights traveling to the US, Bahamas, and Canada for free on Saturday, February 14th. All empty leg flights for the holiday weekend will be available to book 1-3 days in advance.

Booking an empty leg flight means that you’ll have an entire jet to yourself and your party. You’re also allowed to bring as many people as can sit on the flight. The only catch is that you’re responsible for your return trip home, but that’s a small price to pay when you consider everything that you’re getting (a whole jet to yourself, no screaming kids, an actually attentive flight crew). You can also use the Jetsmarter app to charter your return trip home. Think of it as getting a round-trip ticket for half price.

Travelers who are departing from the tri-state area and want an extra ounce of luxury will also be able to book helicopter taxi service to and from New York City and Teteboro. Unfortunately, Jetsmarter won’t be footing the bill for the helicopter flight. In any case, couples with a strong sense of wanderlust officially have their plans set for Valentine’s Day.
