Gurkha Cigars
In the past 20 years, this brand has grown into the world's premium cigar company.

At the height of the British rule in India, colonial soldiers began to make their own cigars from the local tobacco, leading to the founding of the Gurkha brand. While surely a company with a rich, 100-year history, Gurkha Cigars was not always a rich company. In fact, just 20-years ago, lifelong businessman Kaizad Hansotia purchased the brand during a trip to India for a mere $149. With a steadfast commitment to the revival of the company, Hansotia turned Gurkha into a multi-million-dollar enterprise.
Today, Gurkha is known as the Rolls-Royce of cigars. The Grand Reserve, the company’s flagship, are infused with fine cognac. The cigars are handmade in Honduras from the finest tobaccos. The premium Connecticut shade wrapper provides a rich, creamy flavor with a hint of spice and promises a pleasantly light finish that cigar aficionados will truly enjoy. With a range of products from the limited Black Dragon Tubo (eight-year-aged CT maduro wrapper, five-year-aged Cameroon Binder, five-year-aged Dominican Filler) to His Majesty’s Reserve, which runs for around $15,000 per box, Gurkha reminds us what an evening filled with the finest cigars and cognac can be: priceless.
