Mélisse Hosts One-Night Only Dinner Honoring Australian Truffle Season
Melisse offers an exclusive, one-night only dinner this June featuring the best of Australian black truffles, which cost roughly $800 a pound.

Mélisse is offering a VIP experience inside its hallowed halls this June.
The Santa Monica-based eatery, which was the only Los Angeles area institution named as a James Beard semi-finalist this year for Outstanding Restaurant, is partnering with the Truffle & Wine Co. out of Manjimup, Western Australia for a curated, exclusive, one-night-only dinner on June 13.
Melisse’s chef and owner Josiah Citrin and Peter Gilmore, the Executive Chef at Quay in Sydney, will team up for “Black Truffle Friday,” a collaborative five-course meal featuring the best of Australian truffles, of which cost anywhere from $400 for truffle peelings to over $800 per pound of extra class truffles.
This decadent dinner costs $185 per person, or $280 with wine pairing. We suggest you opt for the latter, as Melisse offers some of the most storied French wines you’ll be likely to find in LA.
