A picture is worth a thousand bucks, or so the phrase goes. But when all is said and done, Ellen DeGeneres’ impromptu star-studded Oscar selfie may be worth ever-so-slightly more — it might just be worth $1 billion.

The billion-dollar remark comes courtesy of Publicis CEO Maurice Levy, who made his remarks during a talk at MIPTV (Marché International des Programmes de Télévision), the annual content market event in Cannes, France, for co-producing, buying, selling, financing and distributing entertainment content.

His company, Publicis Groupe, is a Paris-based agency that handles international marketing for Samsung, the phone DeGeneres used to take the aforementioned snap at the 2014 Academy Awards. Included in the photo are the likes of Meryl Streep, Lupita Nyong’o, Jared Leto, Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts and Kevin Spacey.

Levy believes the photo is worth its weight in gold because of how much it was shared on Twitter, Instagram and various other social networks. The tweet, which Ellen posted via The Ellen DeGeneres Show’s Twitter account, was seen by 37 million people worldwide — which almost rivaled the number of people (43 million) who tuned in to actually watch the broadcast.
