Rihanna To Receive CFDA Fashion Icon Award in NYC
Few celebrities have turned heads for their daring fashion ensembles more than Rihanna. In recognition of the impact the 26-year-old musician has had on pop culture around the world, the Council of Fashion Designers of America is awarding her the CFDA Fashion Icon Award.
This year’s star-studded event will take place at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall on June 2. Past recipients of the prestigious award include Lady Gaga, Iman, Kate Moss and Nicole Kidman.
The Rude Boy singer previously created collections for Emporio Armani and for River Island. She currently serves as the face of Balmain.
