Flipping great!

Shrove Tuesday – aka Pancake Day – is just around the corner. Huzzah! Here at Haute Living we love pancakes and invariably approach March 4 as an opportunituy to indulge our inner child and chow down on as many crepes as our waistbands permit.

Coq d’Argent  – one of our favourite rooftop restaurants, offering striking views of the capital’s skyline – appears to have read our mind. They have adopted a ‘go big or go home’ mentality for their Shrove Tuesday celebrations with a Man v Pancake challenge.

A stack of 10 pancakes, served with blueberry compote, maple syrup and crème Chantilly will be available at the buzzy French restaurant between 7.30am to 10am.

Anyone who can finish a stack by themselves in an hour, will win a Champagne breakfast for two (glass of Champagne and full English breakfast, including tea or coffee for two).

Now that sounds like a challenge we can’t resist…
