Audi has found a way to combine two of life’s great luxuries – a new car and a trip to Europe. Audi’s European Delivery program offers buyers up to 5 percent off of MSRP (depending on model) when the vehicle is picked up at its birthplace in Ingolstadt, Germany.
The program provides a unique car experience from a buyer’s first step off the plane. The buyer is met with chauffeured transport at Munich airport and transferred to a four-star hotel, which Audi covers for the evening. The following morning, chauffeured transport takes the buyer to Ingolstadt for a guided tour of the Audi factory and museum. The VIP treatment continues during the delivery process with a personal advisor, who provides a complete tutorial covering the new vehicle’s features and benefits. Complimentary meals and beverages are available throughout the day. Buyers can also elect to stay and enjoy one of the Audi driver’s day programs to experience other Audi models. There is also a unique European Delivery Program offered to R8 buyers, whose cars are built by hand in the quattro GmbH plant at nearby Neckarsulm, the center of Audi Motorsport and performance car development.
Once the vehicle is picked up, the road adventure begins. Audi provides 15-day complimentary comprehensive insurance for European travel with 19 drop-off locations throughout Europe that will handle shipping all the way to the buyer’s American Audi dealership. Audi also provides guidance for three custom journeys available for four, seven, and ten days to enjoy the sights of Germany, including speeding away on the infamous autobahn.
