Aventura Mall Announces Major Luxury Expansion

Aventura Mall isn’t just one of the country’s biggest and best malls, it is also one of the top 5 highest-grossing shopping destinations. Of late it has begun leaning more luxe, with the recent addition of a two-story Louis Vuitton store, Burberry and Cartier boutiques and other high end names. Now the mall is planning a new three-level, 241,000 square-foot retail wing and a seven-story parking garage that might just resolve the always-tight parking situation.

Construction is set to begin this year, taking out the existing food court to make room for more than 300 new world-renowned luxury boutiques.

“Meeting the needs of Aventura Mall’s increasingly fashion-centric visitor base will be a focus of the new expansion,” said Jackie Soffer, principal of Turnberry Associates, owner and manager of Aventura Mall. “We’re very excited about the continued transformation of Aventura Mall, which will provide an enhanced shopping experience for our local and international visitors.”
