Leonardo DiCaprio is putting his money where his mouth is. The Wolf of Wall Street star's self-named foundation has made a $3 million donation to international ocean conservation and advocacy organization Oceana.

Leonardo DiCaprio is putting his money where his mouth is.
The Wolf of Wall Street star’s self-named foundation has made a $3 million donation to international ocean conservation and advocacy organization Oceana.
His sizable commitment will be doled out over the course of three years and will be used to protect threatened habitats and marine species and promote responsible fishing.
In a press release, the Oscar nominee and environmentalist says: “Protecting our planet’s oceans and the marine species that call it home is one of the most pressing sustainability crises facing humanity today and a moral imperative that we must acknowledge.”
