As an update to previous posts, one that might bring a bit of closure to the item, Tommy Hilfiger has decided to delist his $50 million duplex condo at the Plaza. It was the priciest apartment on the Manhattan market after going up for sale in September. According to the Post, sources say the designer is now planning to move into the troubled building, where apartment sales have been practically nonexistent since the market crashed. So far, condos with asking prices raging from $36 million to $55 million have been pulled, while 26 unsold units from $1.8 million to $46 million are languishing. Hilf’s pricey pad reportedly failed to attract a serious potential buyer during its 3 months on the market.
