
Haute 100 LA Update: Leonardo DiCaprio to Share Cinema Vanguard Award with Martin Scorsese
Leonardo DiCaprio and longtime director Martin Scorsese will share the Cinema Vanguard award at the 2014 Santa Barbara International Film Festival. The two will receive the award on Feb. 6 at Santa Barbara's historic Arlington Theatre.

The two will receive the award on Feb. 6 at Santa Barbara’s historic Arlington Theatre.
SBIFF’s Cinema Vanguard Award was created “in recognition of those who have forged his/her own path, taking artistic risks and making a significant and unique contribution to film.”
Previous recipients include Amy Adams, Jean Dujardin and Berenice Bejo, Nicole Kidman, Vera Farmiga, Peter Sarsgaard, Stanley Tucci,Christoph Waltz, Kristin Scott Thomas and Ryan Gosling.
Most recently, DiCaprio appeared in Scorsese’s Wolf of Wall Street film, which was released in December.
The Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s 29th edition will run from Jan. 30 – Feb. 9.
