Jerry Bruckheimer was celebrated by his peers, friends and the entertainment industry elite at the 27th American Cinematheque awards last week.
The film and television producer was heralded by the organization for his significant contributions to the art of the Moving Picture.
Bruckheimer received his tangible award from Bruce Willis and was feted in the flesh by Justin Bartha, Cuba Gooding Jr., Wayne Gretzky, Armie Hammer, Marg Helgenberger, Sir Ben Kingsley, Dame Helen Mirren, Terri Nunn, Luc Robitaille, Jon Turteltaub, Jon Voight Diane Warren and Hans Zimmer.
Eric Bana, Nicolas Cage, Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Martin Lawrence and Judge Reinhold provided taped messages, as they were not on hand at the Beverly Hilton-held Dec. 12 gala.
Funds raised during the evening were in support of the American Cinematheque’s public programs at the Aero & Egyptian Theatres.
