MPTV Images Celebrates the Work of Sid Avery

Mptv Images celebrated the 75th anniversary of founder Sid Averys first celebrity photo at Design Matters Gallery in Los Angeles last week. 

Attending tastemakers were treated to an exclusive viewing of over 30 of Avery’s iconic photograph, including rare pictures of legends like Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, Marlon Brando, Joanne Woodward, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and Sophia LorenAlso on display were rare behind-the-scenes pictures James Dean took with Avery’s camera while on the set of Giant. 

This show is the first event and sale of Avery’s work to be personally curated by Avery’s son, Ron, and the first posthumous exhibition to take place in Avery’s hometown of Los Angeles.

During the event, guests sampled canapés from The Glendon Bar & Kitchen, Stoli vodka cocktailsand non-alcoholic refreshments by Hint water.
