Herringbone Replaces Asia De Cuba at the Mondrian Los Angeles
Asia De Cuba will be replaced this January by Herringbone, a restaurant courtesy of Top Chef alum and The Taste judge Brian Malarkey.
James Brennan of the Enlightened Hospitality Group will join Malarkey to open the new space inside West Hollywood’s Mondrian hotel on the Sunset Strip.
The eatery will feature ocean-to-table cuisine, and showcase “fish meats field,” including ocean specialties from around the world and a variety of surf and turf dishes.
Says the chef: “Herringbone is the pure embodiment of what we have coined as our ‘Fabric of Social Dining’ experience – after enjoying an exceptional meal, guests continue their evening at Herringbone as the lights dim and the music picks up. This ascent in energy establishes a palatable vibe that complements the liveliness found throughout the restaurant.”
An opening date of Jan. 7 is expected.
