La Petite Maison Hosts Great Gatsby-Themed Bash for New Year’s
This New Year’s Eve popular DIFC restaurant La Petite Maison will pay tribute to one of the greatest eras of the past century with a 1920s `The Great Gatsby’ themed party. The event will take inspiration from the era of the Roaring Twenties, a time known for its economic prosperity and social, cultural and artistic liberty.
The evening will dress the restaurant in vintage decor, with costumed staff and servers and have a live DJ playing until 3am. To create this festive mood, La Petite Maison has commissioned the assistance of fashion stylist Clara Strambio who will help make sure the staff are dressed in proper 1920s attire.
“The 1920s was about liberation, modernity and great jazz music and we’re bringing back the era with our ‘Great Gatsby’-themed affair,” says Cedric Toussaint, General Manager of La Petite Maison. “The restaurant will be transformed into something akin to a live movie set – it’ll be exquisite, memorable and a glamorous way for our guests to ring in 2014.”
