Diane Von Furstenberg’s Journey of a Dress Exhibition to Open in LA
Diane Von Furstenberg is celebrating the 40th anniversary of her iconic wrap dress in style.
The haute designer will bring her Journey of a Dress Exhibition to Los Angeles on Jan. 11 of next year.
The exhibition, which runs through April 1st, 2014, will be housed in the historic Wilshire May Company building and will feature a retrospective of vintage and contemporary DVF designs.
It will chronicle the journey of a dress across four decades and will include portraits of designer, muse, and collector Diane von Furstenberg by celebrated artists such as Andy Warhol, Chuck Close, Francesco Clemente, Helmut Newton and Annie Leibovitz, as well as new pieces from Dustin Yellin and other contemporary artists.
