Haute 100 LA Update: Kobe Bryant Receives Shining Star Award from Make-A-Wish
It’s no secret that Kobe Bryant is a shining star, but as of yesterday, he was officially honored as one.
The LA Lakers great received the “Shining Star” award from the Make-A-Wish Foundation at its annual Wishing Well Winter Gala held at the Beverly Wilshire hotel.
Bryant received his honor in part for his work with the Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation, a public charity dedicated to improving the lives of youth and families in need.
Make-A-Wish® grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
