Online Auction Includes A Day with Derek Jeter
Christie’s online auction includes a very unique and coveted item—a chance to spend a day with Yankee’s shortstop, Derek Jeter. The bidding starts at $90,000 and includes a dinner for four with the baseball player, four luxury box seats at a Yankee’s game and the Jeter’s signed game-day glove.
All proceeds from the online auction, which runs through December 17, will go to Jeter’s Turn 2 Foundation. The organization funds programs that endorse leadership and healthy lifestyles in low-income areas of places that are near and dear to Jeter’s heart: New York, Michigan and Florida.
Jeter’s Turn 2 Foundation has raised more than $18 million since its inception in 1996.
