James Franco To Make Broadway Debut In ‘Of Mice and Men’

The talented and excessively handsome James Franco will be making his Broadway debut alongside Bridesmaids star, Chris O’Dowd in Of Mice and Men. Franco will play George, a migrant worker, and O’Dowd will play Lennie, a big man with a learning disorder and a sweet disposition. It will be the first time in 40 years that John Steinbeck’s depression era novel will be adapted for theatre.

The show will be directed by Tony award winner Anna D. Shapiro at the Longacre Theatre beginning on April 16.
