Hermès Unveils Luxury Bicycles

Pedal the cobblestone streets of the West Village in style! Haute handbag manufacturer, Hermès, has just released two new ultra-lightweight bicycles—the perfect accessories for any outfit.

Named Le Flâneur d’Hermès and Le Flâneur sportif d’Hermès, the two unisex models are available in three sizes (Small, Medium and Large) and two colors (charcoal and blanc d’Espagne). The Le Flâneur sportif d’Hermès will also be available in a sporty shade of red.

Besides an appealing design and a designer label, the carbon fiber bicycles also come equipped with shock-absorbing frames, hydraulic disc brakes and belt-driven transmission. Riders can also choose whether they want eight or 11 gears integrated into the hub of the back wheel. Both models retail for $11,000 and come equipped with luggage-rack support, which is perfect for pedaling with a bag of groceries… or a Hermès purse.
