Azature unveiled the ultimate opulent accessory last week at its ‘Black Diamond Affair’ bash: a $1 million nail polish.
The varnish is infused with 98 carats of luminous white diamonds, one black diamond and 1,400 individually hand-selected diamonds set in a platinum cap.
100 VIPs such as Shoshana Bush, Bonnie Somerville, Caitlin O’Connor, Eden Sassoon, Jenn Brown, Lexi Ainsworth, Melanie Marden and Sky Nellor were lucky enough to view the new polish while the luckiest guest of all, Kelly Osbourne, actually received a manicure with the precious polish.
As would befit an evening showcasing the world’s most expensive polish, there were mermaids on hand to swim in the Sunset Tower pool, ballerinas and even white snakes to keep watch over the evening’s $1 million guest of honor.
The sale of the White Diamond Nail Lacquer will donate the proceeds of the bottle’s purchase to fellow guest Toni Braxton’s www.lupusla.org charity as well as the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in honor of Kelly Osbourne’s brother’s Jack’s battle with the disease.
