Singer-songwriter Franky Perez, known for his solo work and affiliations with Slash and Scars on Broadway, was spotted jamming with local band The Busker Kings at Cabo Wabo Cantina on Wednesday.

Perez, sporting jeans, a button-down and a simple pullover sweater along with his Cabo Wabo baseball hat, sang both covers and original songs during the performance. The group played a few of his original hits, including “Cecilia” and “When I Was Young,” as well as some classic rock covers and Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry.” The Busker Kings drummer, Beau Doyle, even let Perez jam on the drums for a couple of songs.

Between songs, Perez snapped photos with fans and band members, even scoring a photo with an Elvis impersonator who stopped by to see the show. Perez has been training with local UFC fighters and enjoyed the restaurant’s carne asada.
