The city of Los Angeles got just a little bit more hopeful last week when $6 million was raised during City of Hope’s Spirit of Life Gala.
In addition to raising funds for the organization’s fight against cancer and critical diseases, the charity also honored Rob Light, CAA’s head of music and managing partner.
Music industry heavyweights and entertainers alike gathered in Playa Vista to fete Light and his affiliation with the charity.
Guests such as Randy Jackson, Tim Robbins, Steve Perry, Ann & Nancy Wilson, JC Chasez ,Michael Bolton and Jesse McCartney gathered to celebrate the “Summer of Hope” theme and catch a surprise performance from Stevie Wonder, who sang his famous hits like “Superstition” and “Isn’t She Lovely” under the stars.
