Haute 100 LA Update: Sofia Vergara Stuns in $7 Million Worth of Jewels at 65th Annual Emmy Awards

She may not have won an Emmy this year, but Sofia Vergara still looked like a million bucks on television’s most important night of the year. Scratch that: she looked like seven million bucks.

The 41-year-old “Modern Family” star wore $7 million worth of platinum jewelery by Lorraine Schwartz to Sunday’s ceremony, including platinum earrings with unheated ruby, sapphire and over 100 carats of Colombian emeralds, a platinum and Ascher cut 21-carat diamond ring, a 40-carat platinum ring with a Colombian emerald and rose cut diamonds.

She also wowed the crowd with her form-fitting red lace Vera Wang gown.

The ensemble made the most of her figure with its v-neck bodice, trumpet skirt, corset belt and hand appliqués.

The Colombian actress was nominated for ‘Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series’ though lost the Emmy to Merritt Wever of “Nurse Jackie”.
