Jumeriah Zabeel Saray Launches New Afternoon Tea with Eric Lanlard

Prepare for a decadent Ottoman-inspired tea by Chef Eric Lanlard at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. The master pâtissier, author and TV star worked closely with the culinary team at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray to design the Orange Blossom Financier, a special cake developed exclusively for the new Ottoman Afternoon Tea menu that re-launched alongside a traditional English Afternoon Tea Menu in Sultan’s Lounge, the hotel’s lobby lounge.

“I love the concept of afternoon tea, especially when it has been infused with something unique such as this Ottoman menu. The Orange Blossom Financier is a fusion of a classic tea-time treat with fragrant notes of the Middle East,” commented Lanlard.

Lanlard revealed the new cake at a private event at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray as part of the new menu launch. The new menu combines perfectly with the hotel’s Turkish influence bringing something sweet, beautifully created and Turkish to Jumeirah Zabeel Saray’s already many opulent offerings.
