Haute 100 LA Update: Steven Spielberg Named Second Highest Paid Celebrity of 2013

It’s no longer a man’s world…at least when it comes to which celebrity was the highest paid of 2013.

Steven Spielberg topped the list at #2, only bested by the Material Girl herself, Madonna.

The 66-year-old Dreamworks SKG chief made $100 million at the box office in the time frame of June 2012 – June 2013 thanks to his award-winning picture, Lincoln.

Royalties earned from his library of films as well as the cut he gets from ticket sales at Universal theme parks also contributed to his placement on the list.

Simon Cowell, E L James, Howard Stern, James Patterson, Michael Bay, Jerry Bruckheimer and Lady Gaga rounded out the top 10 on Forbes’ annual list.
