‘The Butler’ Stars Celebrate LA Premiere at WP24

It is a rare treat when the the Queen of all Media leaves the Royal throne and lands in the City of Angels.
Of course, if Oprah Winfrey plans on taking a trip to LA, she does it as she does everything — in a big way.
The 59-year-old media mogul attended the red carpet premiere and ensuing after party of her latest film, The Butler.
After walking the carpet at L.A. Live’s Regal Cinemas Monday night, “O”, co-stars Forest Whitaker, David Oleyowo, Cuba Gooding Jr., Jane Fonda, Jimmy Kimmell, Minka Kelly, James Marsden, Alex Pettyfer, Jesse Williams, director/producer Lee Daniels, and writer Danny Strong headed to Wolfgang Puck’s WP24 atop the Ritz-Carlton hotel.
The co-stars celebrated their success with designer cocktails courtesy of Purity Vodka themed to the film, including the Martini 1600, the Majordomo, and The White Glove.
Oprah, however, was the life of the party. She gabbed and posed with her co-stars, looking fabulous (and showing off a much slimmer figure) in a body-hugging fuchsia wrap dress.
Earlier in the evening she addressed the controversy she aired last week by claiming that she was subjected to racism in the tony Trois Pommes boutique in Zurich, Switzerland; she said she was denied service when she attempted to buy a $35,000 Tom Ford bag.
“I’m really sorry that it got blown up,” she said, according to the BBC. “I purposefully did not mention the name of the store. I’m sorry that I said it was Switzerland.”
