A rare cognac has made its U.S. debut at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills.

The Louis XIII Rare Cask 42, 6 is the first establishment to serve the elusive libation, which retails for $22,000 a bottle.

Yves DeLaunay, VP Prestige Brands at Remy Cointreau USA, and Four Seasons Beverly Hills general manager Mehdi Eftekari, toasted the bottle’s LA arrival late last week.

The bottle, which features a 22-carat rose gold neck and body by Baccarat Cristallerie, will stand in the hotel’s Windows Lounge.

A full bottle will retail for $22,000 while individual pours start at $1,000 per half ounce.

Only 738 bottles of the cognac — which has notes of plume, date, gingerbread, prune stone and tobacco leaf — have ever been produced.
