The Scene: Barneys New York Celebrates Proenza Schouler
Barneys New York toasted Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez with an intimate summer soiree on June 13. The haute department store was celebrating “First Collection”, a limited-edition reissue of the fashion label’s Fall 2003 collection. A slew of the brand’s celebrity fans gathered at the Los Angeles home of Mark Fletcher and Tobias Meyer for the elegant dinner party including Kate Bosworth, Kirsten Dunst, Rashida Jones, Angela Lindvall, China Chow, Gia Coppola, Lisa Eisner, David Morehouse, Rosetta and Balthazar Getty, Michael Polish and Elizabeth Stewart. McCollough and Hernandez were recently awarded the 2013 CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year Award.
