Haute Secrets: Artist America Martin

America Martin is a Colombian-American fine artist who is a rising star in the contemporary art universe. This stylish Angeleno grew up in Hollywood and also boasts an impressive resume: her mother is Dr. Margaret Martin, a public health activist and founder of The Harmony Project, an award-winning nonprofit organization that targets at-risk youth in underserved areas of Los Angeles. Martin also went to the storied Crossroads High School in Santa Monica with Jason Ritter, Simon Helburg, Zooey Deschanel and Jeremy Konner – and still collaborates with many of these actors and artists in her studio with table readings, exhibits, and performances. Her work is collected by famous actors including Danny DeVito, Kirsten Dunst, Ted Danson, Juliette Lewis, Simon Helberg, and Giovanni Ribisi.
