Porsche Design takes its high-powered engineering from the road to the high seas in a partnership with Royal Falcon Fleet, a Singapore-based yacht company. The luxury catamarans and mega yachts are to feature exterior hull and interior designs by Porsche-the first will be the RFF135, a 135 foot motor catamaran. The RFF135 will have the capacity to reach speeds of 35 knots. The impressive yacht is expected to sell for millions, though no price has been specified as of yet. Dubbed “the ultimate in billionaire boys’ toys” by Royal Falcon Fleet itself, future owners of the RFF135 will boast superior naval architecture from Swedish marine engineering firm Kockums and also Incat Crowther, an Australian catamaran builder. Though no completion date has formally been set, yacht enthusiasts the world over are anxiously awaiting its arrival.
