Photos: Zooey Deschanel Brings She & Him to the Boulevard Pool
Silverscreen sweetheart Zooey Deschanel and fellow bandmate singer/songwriter M. Ward lit up the Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Wednesday night as the indie-pop duo She & Him. Known for songs perfectly suited on a warm summer day, Deschanel’s twee vocals carried the crowd away, dancing on the beachy, strummy notes of Ward’s guitar. Covering the duo’s three main full-length albums, She & Him’s set highlighted the group’s latest release, Volume Three, with perfectly sweet performances of the singles “I Could’ve Been Your Girl” and “Never Wanted Your Love.”
