Photos: Krewella Takes Over Light Nightclub
Electronic dance music trio Krewella launched their residency at Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay with a sold-out performance on Saturday night. Local favorites Kid Funk and DJ Stellar spun a selection of underground tracks to warm up the crowd, who went wild as the Krew took the stage with a hybrid of “Countdown” and “Alive.” Yasmine Yousaf got on the mic to keep fans on their feet as Rainman and her sister Jahan rocked the decks with their original music and exclusive remixes. Even as Krewella ended their set with smash hit “Alive,” the crowd of thousands of fans was begging for more. Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella was spotted taking in the Krew’s show from Light’s balcony.
