Snowmass Gears Up for Inaugural Mammoth Fest

News | May 31, 2013

Can you hear the drum beats? There’s only one week until the inaugural Mammoth Fest comes to Snowmass. Well, sort of. The two-day music festival is the reincarnation of the popular Chili Brew Festival, which took place on Snowmass’ Fanny Hill for the previous nine years. For 2013, it moves to the Snowmass Town Park (near the Rodeo Lot) and makes music the focus.

Attendees can still expect more than 25 breweries and tasting sessions on Friday and Saturday, June 7 & 8, along with an International Chili Society-sanctioned cook-off. But, the spotlight will turn to the stage, with acts like AWOLNation, The Joy Formidable, Return to Dark Side of the Moon and JJ Grey and Mofro. In addition to live music all day long, there will be after-dark performances around Snowmass at night.

A two-day pass costs $80. Tickets for Friday only are $35, and for Saturday, they’re $55. For more information and tickets, visit Mammoth Fest.
