Vacheron Constantin Celebrates Rodeo Drive Boutique Opening with Haute Dinner at LACMA
Vacheron Constantin has officially opened its doors on Rodeo Drive.
To celebrate the occasion, the world’s oldest Haute Horlogerie manufacturer hosted an intimate dinner at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Juan-Carlos Torres, CEO of Vacheron Constantin, Michael Govan and Katherine Ross, director of LACMA, and Hugues de Pins, president of Vacheron Constantin North America, co-hosted the event.
The evening commenced with a ribbon cutting at the new Beverly Hills boutique, followed by a cocktail reception and Champagne toast.
Guests including Rochelle Gores Fresston, Liz Goldwyn, Gregory Parkinson, Scott Sternberg, and Kendall Conrad were then chauffeured to LACMA to dine at a 144-foot long, chandelier-lit table under mirrored arches open to the spring sky and adjacent to Levitated Mass, a monumental outdoor sculpture by artist Michael Heizer.
A five-course dinner was then exclusively prepared by Chef Alain Passard of L’Arpege, Paris and followed by a performance by Andrea Day.
In addition to celebrating the new Vacheron Constantin boutique, the celebration also marked the first large-scale event of its kind to take place next to Levitated Mass at the museum; Vacheron Constantin is sponsoring James Turrell: A Retrospective opening at LACMA which previews May 23.
